In loving Memory of Gloria Palestrini
One of our long-time supporters, Joseph Palestrini, who works for PSEG LI, Long Island's Electric Company, recently lost his mom. In loving memory of her, he made a generous donation towards our Shelter Run Fund sponsoring the rescue of twenty-five shelter cats!
His mom was a huge animal lover and advocate, and Joe knows she would be so proud and happy to provide such a gift to cats in need!
We are so grateful to have Joe's support, and we feel so honored to be the recipients of this wonderful gift in honor of such a special person.

Mom's name is Gloria Palestrini, she loved cats.
My sister and I feed 5 cats on her deck each night, 2 brothers who are 4 years old,since they were babies,
Another bonded pair the last 2 years, about 3 or 4 years old, and 1 grey boy who has been coming around for a few years, as well. All are clean and well fed, but not able to pet them, but the grey cat does rub against my hand when I put out his food and talks to me, usually waiting at the back door when I arrive.
