GOLDEN AMBASSADOR PROGRAM (GAP)
When we started out with our shelter cat rescue mission in August 2012, our primary focus was within
our local community. We never expected our reach to become global and yet, with the magic of
Facebook, we’ve far exceeded our expectations! We now find ourselves in a position to effect change in
the lives of shelter cats in communities we’ve never been to in towns, cities, and countries we’ve never
even heard of! However, we need the help of others in these communities to make this happen.

We are seeking individuals all over the globe to sign on as Golden Ambassadors, people who will help us
to locate and highlight cats in other shelters who need out!
Specifically, a Golden Ambassador is a person who is willing to:
-Periodically visit his/her local animal shelter(s)
-Network with shelter personnel, introducing yourself and the GAP program, in order to receive
permission to meet the cats for the purpose of highlighting them on our FB page
-Find out which cat has been there the longest and/or needs out the most
desperately at the time of your visit
-get accurate, basic information about the cat ( name, age, health, any available background info)
-Take some good pictures of the cat
-Provide us with this information/photos via email (including the name/address/contact info for the
shelter) so that we may highlight the cat on our Facebook page.
The purpose of this program is to close in on the giant GAP that exists between us and the thousands
of shelter cats in need, and to help these cats to be discovered and get adopted!
