Volunteer Application

Golden Paw Society is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of shelter cats and kittens.

Volunteering with our cat rescue can be incredibly rewarding, as we care for and help transform the lives of cats who've been through sad and traumatic situations. 
 
Our Adoption Center houses about 40 cats at any given time and cleaning up after them is a large part of what is needed.   The cleanliness of our Adoption Center helps maintain the health of our cats, as well as encourages potential adopters to adopt from us, which is the ultimate goal always.   As cats get adopted, we are then able to rescue more cats and our mission continues! 

Our Petsmart locations house about 5 cats at a time.    Daily feeding and cleaning is needed, as well as their need for time out to play and receive attention.  Must be willing to interact with store customers to help get our cats adopted. 
 
To volunteer with us you:
must be 18yo or older  
must have your own/reliable transportation
must be reachable by text and email

After review, a volunteer will be in touch with you to discuss your availability and set you up for a brief orientation to see what's involved and to determine if this is where you'd like to be!
